Ashley's 14th Birthday

                                                                             July 10th was Ashley's 14th birthday! We had a really fun day with her.  Ash grew up so much this summer and has really matured.  It has been such a blessing! Ash is totally into Harry Potter so we had that for her family and friend birthday party.  I found a bunch of stuff online that I could download for free.

We made a bunch of stuff for everyone to snack on that had to do with Harry Potter.

Jessica had come over to help Ash made the treats.  Jess is Blake's freind, that it's.  They are just good friends. Anyways, she has taken Ash under her wing and has been an absolute blessing. She came for the friend party but hung out with Blake.  They were bored so they counted Blake's change.

Ashley's birthday party group.  It was her first boy/girl party.

That night we had our family party and it was all Harry Potter!  She is obsessed!

My mom, Jason's parents, Steph and her boys along with Amelia and her kids came to help celebrate.

Steph was able to bring Mason, her grandson ( they are very close with the adoptive parents.) and my mom was watching Dave's boys at the time so we had lots of little ones loving on Sadie.

Ashley's cake.  I can't seem to turn it the right way.

Here are 14 things about Ashley:

1. She planted a garden this summer and lots of things have grown!

2. She loves playing tether ball in the back yard with her ipod blaring.

3. She's not as boy crazy as she was last year.  She's being more selective.

4. She has started learning Hymn's to play in Seminary and YW's.

5. She has started baking a ton. She's getting really good at it.

6. She gets straight A's in school.

7. She wants to go on a mission.

8. She dances all over the house.

9. She is dying to learn how to drive a car.

10. She is really good at braiding hair.

11. She is super close to getting her braces off. She can't wait.

12. She takes the longest, hottest showers in the whole family.

13. She is a very sweet young lady.

14. She went to EFY this summer and can't wait to go back next summer.
